Privacy Policy for Moonlit Crystal
Moonlit Crystal ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Moonlit Crystal mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, protect, and delete information when you use the App.
Information We Collect
Google Sign-In and Account Information
If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive and process your Google account email address, display name, and an account, authentication, or app-specific user identifier. We use this information to authenticate you, create or manage your Moonlit Crystal account, and provide account-related features.
We do not receive or store your Google password.
Cloud Saves, App Progress, and Preferences
Moonlit Crystal may offer cloud saves for users who sign in with Google. Cloud saves allow you to back up, synchronize, and restore your App data on compatible devices.
When cloud saves are enabled, we may collect, transmit, and store:
- Your Moonlit Crystal account identifier
- Diamond art projects, painting progress, and completed artwork
- App settings and preferences
- Information used to recognize or restore a "Remove Ads" entitlement
- Cloud-save metadata, such as save creation or update time
We use cloud-save data only to provide backup, synchronization, restoration, account-related features, security, and troubleshooting. Cloud-save data may be stored by us or by service providers that process information on our behalf to operate the cloud-save feature.
If you do not sign in or do not use cloud saves, some App progress and preferences may remain only on your device. Uninstalling the App, clearing App data, or changing devices may delete local progress that has not been saved to the cloud.
Advertising Information
Moonlit Crystal may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob and its service providers may collect, use, and share information to provide advertisements, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services.
This information may include:
- Device and advertising identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID and app-set ID
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location
- Device, operating-system, and App information
- Ad-related App activity, including ad views, taps, and video views
- Diagnostic and performance information

Purchases and Remove Ads
Moonlit Crystal may offer a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase through Google Play. Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment-card number, bank-account information, or Google Play payment credentials.
We may process limited purchase-related information, such as purchase status, product identifier, transaction reference, purchase token, or an account identifier, only as needed to provide, verify, restore, and protect your "Remove Ads" entitlement.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide Moonlit Crystal’s diamond art features
- Authenticate users and manage App accounts
- Back up, synchronize, restore, and protect cloud-save data
- Provide, verify, and restore "Remove Ads" purchases
- Display and measure advertisements
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical misuse
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations
How Information Is Shared
We may share information with third parties only as necessary to operate Moonlit Crystal and as described in this Privacy Policy:
- Google Sign-In and Google Identity Services: to authenticate users and provide sign-in functionality.
- Cloud-save service providers: to store, synchronize, restore, secure, and operate cloud-save functionality.
- Google AdMob: to serve advertisements, measure advertising performance, and prevent advertising fraud.
- Google Play: to process purchases and support purchase verification or restoration.
- Legal and safety authorities: where required by law or necessary to protect users, our rights, property, or the security of the App.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Advertising Choices
Depending on your location, device, and applicable law, you may be able to manage personalized advertising through Android or Google advertising settings. If consent is required for personalized advertising, we will request it before using information for that purpose.
You may also remove ads, where available, by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option through Google Play.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the App, cloud saves, and account-related features; fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy; resolve disputes; enforce agreements; maintain security; and comply with legal obligations.
- Account information, cloud-saved progress, completed artwork, and preferences are retained while your Moonlit Crystal account remains active.
- After a verified account-deletion request, we delete or anonymize account-related cloud-save data that we control, except for limited data retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or transaction-record purposes.
- Purchase, tax, accounting, security, and fraud-prevention records may be retained only for the period required or permitted by applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying material changes.
